Manny Pacquiao, Not Yet Ready

Manny Pacquiao is still busy with his political career. So, it is also fair to say that He is not yet ready to fight Juan Manuel Marquez. But I know that in just few weeks in training, he will be in good shape again.

But is he really ready to fight Marquez?

I know, he is already ready.

By the way, Manny Pacquiao's "Sometimes When we Touch" is now jumping from number 11 to number 7 in Secondary Adult Contemporary Chart. That simply tells us that Manny is not just champion in boxing and politics but also in Music.

So far, there's no real big news about Manny Pacquiao in relation to his fight against Marquez. But I understand that the boxing promoter, Bob Arum has scheduled already the fight tour of Pacquiao and Marquez. We will be expecting pre-fight show via HBO.

Marquez Won

Recently, Marquez showed the world that he is really a good pick for Manny Pacquiao by knocking out Ramos in the opening round.

But those who watched the fight would think that the knock out was just part of the drama. I know that the punch was real just like what those people in the WWE are doing. But by looking at the face and the eyes of Ramos, you would immediately think that he was not really hurt. He just dive back first into the canvas without even slamming his head on it. Then that's it. Marquez won.

Obviously, the Marquez versus Ramos fight was there just to gain the support of the boxing fans on his bid for a third fight against Manny Pacquiao.

But I just couldn't believe that Marquez has the power for that knock out.

I Support Juan Manuel Marquez for Pacquiao

Last Sunday's performance of Manny Pacquiao against Sugar Shane Mosley is not really good. I agree with Mr. Laplana\s comment that the Pacquiao versus Mosley fight is boring. Pacquiao's team should choose a fighter well that could much to Pacquiao.  A boxer that is not like Mosley and Clottey who would just stood in the ring without throwing any punches.

Floyd Mayweather Jr isn't the kind of boxer who could give everything so that the fight of Pacquiao would be entertaining.

What we really want is the fighter like Juan Manuel Marquez.

I know that Marquez can give what the fans of Manny Pacquiao want. We already have seen the two fights of Manny Pacquiao against Marquez and the two were quite better compared to the showdown of the Pacman and Mosley. In fact, I saw Marquez as the greatest challenge to Pacquiao's stardom in the boxing world.

Actually, the previous two fights of Marquez and Pacquiao were all in favor to Marquez. The decision of the judges has made it in favor to Pacquiao. But based on my scoring, Pacquiao didn't win any of the fights against Marquez.

Now, let's measure how good really is Pacquiao. For the third time, let's make Pacquiao face Marquez again. Who ever win this fight will be considered as the best.

Now, if Pacquiao lost the fight, then for sureMayweather will claim the credit of being best fighter of the world considering that Mayweather defeated Marquez on their latest showdown.

But I understand that there is a great hindrance to this match. Mainly, it's the promoter of both of the fighter.

We all know that Golden Boy promotion got a problem recently on handling Manny Pacquiao because Manny Pacquiao signed a contract with the Top Rank promotion of Bob Arum, then rejecting the contract he signed with the Golden Boy. The problem was already been settled in the court which is now becoming problem of the Top Rank Promotion everytime Pacquiao would face a boxer under the Golden Boy stable.

But I will just hope that the two bosses of the affected promotions will be united just to make sure that the fight of Marquez against Pacquiao will be held. And we are very much excited about it.
